At Cotswood, we’ve been working on our door design for more than forty years. Our carpenters combine classic, stunning door shapes with the very latest developments in security and insulation technology. We are so confident in the high performance of our designs that we offer a 12-year guarantee for hand-sprayed Accoya doors.

Durable paints and stains

We use Teknos paint because it has been specifically developed to work with Accoya, the high-performance timber that we use for the majority of our doors. The paint and timber work hand-in-hand to give your new door an impressively long-lasting and beautiful finish.with incredible attention to detail – so it will work fantastically, too.

Installation

We take the installation of our doors very seriously. With the combined expertise of our surveyors and carpenters, you can rest assured that your new door assured will not only look fantastic, but will be installed with incredible attention to detail – so it will work fantastically, too.

Security

We know that door security is a top priority for our customers, so we make sure it’s our top priority too. We install insurance-approved locks in exactly the right positions to maximise your security. Your new door will be constructed with wedged mortise and tenon joints for additional strength.

Timber

The majority of our exterior doors and frames are made from FSC-certified Accoya, a modified solid wood that is phenomenally high-performing in terms of strength, stability and durability. We use a range of other FSC-certified woods for different purposes such as interior doors.

Glass

Choose from plain, textured, etched or stained glass in a traditional or modern design. We can make a perfect copy of your original decorative glass, or create a new and completely bespoke design. We use toughened or laminated glass for strength, and double-glazed units wherever possible for thermal efficiency.

Door furniture

We have a wide choice of exquisite door furniture, designed to complement the colour and style of your new door. The door furniture we provide includes handles, letterplates, numbers, knobs and knockers. We are particularly proud of our British-made artisan range, which is of an exceptional quality.
