Description
A slender stained glass casement window installed into the landing of a large Edwardian home. The stained glass includes a double tulip motif in vivid red, with curved green leaves and a simple border of yellow textured glass. Floral stained glass designs were extremely popular in the Edwardian era, and glass panels of this period often featured natural flowing shapes such as leaves and petals picked out in bold reds and greens, laid against a clear background of textured and leaded glass. This stained glass casement window has been painted a fresh white to showcase the beauty of the floral glass design.
