Description

Stained Glass Victorian door fitted into classic London terraced house.  The door has three arched top stained glass panels, making this design more decorative than the classic two panel design.   The stained glass design has a flower, of which elegantly curves down in the lower panels.  The design is symmetrical down the centre of the door giving geometric appeal to the design.   Our stained glass designer worked with our customer to draw up the bespoke design, then colours and glass textures were picked in the showroom.   The farrow and ball dark blue paint colour for the door and frame gives great contrast with the house.   We installed this stained glass door into the original Victorian door frame.  Was also installed a rather nice gold leaf transom pane above the door containing the number.

This customers door is made in high performance Accoya wood meaning it will last for many years.  Accoya also is extremely stable because it cannot absorb or give off moisture.  The modification process for Accoya also means that we do not need to use any nasty biocides to preserve the door.   This sits well with our ethos of preserving our environment.
