Description

A simple box sash window in a 1 over 1 design, typical of the Victorian period. Advances in the production of glass and an increase in affordability made it possible for Victorian homeowners to opt for single large panes of glass in their sash windows instead of using multiple small panes divided by glazing bars. Not only did this improve light flow into the home, it also made for better views! This box sash window has been installed into a bathroom and features an etched glass lower pane for privacy. At Cotswood we offer a variety of obscure glass designs with differing degrees of opacity to suit your requirements.
