Ornate Edwardian front door with stained glass

This ornate Edwardian front door has six raised panels and three shaped stained glass panels.   We templated the original door to copy the shaped corners of the stained glass panels.   The bottom six door panels were also a special raising profile to be as near to the Edwardian door as possible.   We made a tweak to the stiles of the door, the upright pieces, making them wider to enable modern security locks to be fitted.  The stained glass design features reeded glass adding a ridged border and red and yellow colours , complimenting the dark green door colour. This ornate Edwardian front door was hung by our skilled carpenters into the original door frame.   Whilst hanging the door we fitted locks, draught and weather proofing.  Repairs were also carried out to the old frame making it good for the future.
