Edwardian 5 panel front door and new frame

At Cotswood we have a passion for recreating traditional joinery and this Edwardian 5 panel front door is a prime example.  Often, when a house was designed and built, the front door was the centre piece.   Recreating a new door, just like the original, usually gives a house back its heart and soul.   We loved working on this project because the door we replaced was a composite (plastic) front door.  This meant the transformation back to the Edwardian 5 panel door design was spectacular.  The colour choice was a classic light green paint, of which looks super with antique brass door furniture.
