Description

1930’s External front door with sidelight door frame. Wing window sidelight door frames were used lots in the 1930’s.  This sidelight frame also has a transom with panes above the door and side.    The door glass is a simple obscure glass complementing the decorative wooden glazing bar.  This 1930’s external front door has an elegant curve at the head of the door, six glazing apertures and three flat recessed panels.   The door frame has stained glass made to a beautiful original design.   Different textures of glass highlight the sections of the design, making them stand out.   A reeded glass border forms a strong feature of this.  The stained glass is then combined into a double glazed unit making it warm and secure.

Door painted with high performance Teknos paint,  specifically designed for Accoya wood.  This door is painted in a light grey colour and the door frame is painted white.
