At Cotswood, we are committed to helping the environment:
To protect the environment it is important to use materials from sustainable sources. Put simply, some resources are not renewable. Plastic, for example is made from oil which is a finite resource, when it is gone it is gone.
Timber, particularly from managed forests is a renewable resource. In well managed commercial forests the trees planted exceed the harvest.
This builds a resource into the future which actually helps to reduce the "green house" effect. At Cotswood we try to ensure, wherever possible, timber is from well managed FSC accredited forests. (Forest Stewardship Council).
